Wouldn't it be great to be in a Disney movie? Disney is one of the largest and well respected film studios in the world and because of that they don't hire actors or any other
talent for their movies directly. When Disney is looking for new talent for their movies, TV shows even theme parks they always go through casting
agencies. So here again, find a talent agent, and they will get you connected with the right people at Disney.
There are two ways you can find movie auditions for Disney. Either go through the staff or production crew angle or the
talent/entertainment angle.
You might consider working at Disney on the production staff of movies. You can search for their current Disney staff job openings. Or use your talent, discipline and creativity and apply for a artist position at one of their
resorts. You can entertain the guests and probably get one step closer to the big screen. You can check out this page to start looking for
Disney job openings.
Tips for Auditions
There are a few basic rules that apply to almost every type of audition. You are usually required to submit an 8x10 headshot, with
a resume attached to the back side of the headshot. Depending on the audition, you should bring all necessary audition tools. For instance,
if you are a singer, you will need to bring sheet music and if you are a dancer you will need to bring dance shoes.
When auditioning for a show, you may be seen by a casting director, producer, director, choreographer, or musical director. You may also be seen
by assistants and other people who have already been cast in the show. It is important to be positive, truthful, energetic, and respectful to
every person at every audition because each person may have an opinion that could make or break your audition results.
